Eagles Volleyball Swept By Syracuse 3-0

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Boston College volleyball team was swept by BIG EAST rival Syracuse today, 3-0. The Eagles fall to 11-17 overall and 3-7 in conference play, while the Orangewomen improve to 23-9 overall and 6-4 in the BIG EAST.
Syracuse took game one of the match 15-6, game two 15-9 and game three 15-8. Sophomore opposite Rachel Bach had 14 kills to lead the Eagles offense, while the 'Cuse's Dana Fume recorded 14 kills of her own to lead the Orangewomen.
The Eagles' next match will also be their final home match of the 2000 season, when BC squares off against Central Connecticut on Senior Day, this Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in Power Gym. Admission is free.
