Volleyball Falls To UConn 3-0

STORRS, Conn. - The Boston College volleyball team dropped its second BIG EAST match of the weekend today, falling 3-0 to Connecticut in Storrs. Sophomore Rachel Bach led the Eagles with nine kills in the loss.
The Huskies controled the match throughout, winning 15-4, 15-5, and 15-11. UConn improved to 12-6 on the season and 3-1 in the BIG EAST, while the Eagles slipped to 5-13 and 1-3 in the league.
UConn spread the offense as four individuals recorded double-digits in kills. Stephanie Schindel and Melissa Wooley mirrored each other's performance with 16 to lead the team. Schindel also had a match-high 16 digs.
The Eagles will next be in action this Wednesday, October 11, when they travle to Providence, R.I. to face Brown. Match time is 7 p.m.
