Women's Cross Country Ranked Tenth In The Nation

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College women's cross country team is ranked tenth for the week of October 2 in the FinishLynx NCAA Division I National Cross Country Poll.
This past weekend, the Eagles took the Iona College Meet of Champions, where sophomore Maggie Guiney (Red Bank, N.J.) and junior captain Katie Ryan (Elmira, N.Y.) placed first and second respectively. Overall, the Eagles had five runners finish in the top ten
The Eagles will look to improve upon that ranking Friday, October 13, when they compete in the New England Championships. The meet, which will be held at Boston's Franklin Park, will begin at Noon.
