Eagles Volleyball Sweeps Dartmouth 3-0

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College volleyball team defeated Dartmouth today 3-0 in a non-conference match-up in Power Gym. Eagles' sophomore outside hitter Lauren Schwer led the team to victory with 14 kills and 16 digs.

The Eagles (5-11 overall) took control of the match early with a 15-13 first-game victory. BC took game two, 15-10, and thoroughly dominated game three en route to a 15-4 victory in the battle and a 3-0 triumph in the war. Ashley Dean tallied a match-high 16 kills to lead the Big Green (5-9 overall) in the loss.

The Eagles look to extend their winning streak to three matches when they face St. John's in BIG EAST Conference action on Friday in Jamaica, Queens. Match time is 7:30 p.m.
