Eagles Volleyball Tops Seton Hall 3-1

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Boston College volleyball team defeated Seton Hall today, 3-1, earning their record-tying third BIG EAST Conference victory of the season. Sophomore opposite Lauren Schwer recorded 23 kills and 17 digs, while sophomore opposite Brooke Shull also recorded a double-double with 14 kills and 17 digs.
The Eagles took the first game 15-7, but dropped game two 15-12. BC regained momentum, though, and took games three and four by identical 15-11 scores. Rachel Bach provided an additional 21 kills for the Eagles. Kari Belin had 19 kills to lead the Pirates.
Last season the Eagles won three BIG EAST matches en route to finishing the season with a 3-8 conference record.
Next up for the BC is Siena, whom the Eagles will host this Wednesday, November 1, at 8 p.m. All home volleyball matches are played in Power Gym in the Conte Forum, and admission is always free.
