BIG EAST Announces Women's Basketball Television Package

The BIG EAST announced its television package for the 2000-01 women's basketball season. The package, in conjunction with various regional outlets, will feature eight regular-season games and the BIG EAST championship semifinal doubleheader on regional television outlets spanning the country.
Three Boston College games will be broadcast as part of the package. The first will feature the Eagles as they travel to Rutgers on Saturday, Jan. 13, at noon. Fox Sports Net New England, Fox Sports Net New York and Fox Sports Net Florida are scheduled to carry the game live.
Two Boston College home games are also scheduled for television. The contest against the Irish of Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb. 3, will be carried live by the Madison Square Garden Network, Fox Sports Net New England and Fox Sports Net Florida. Fox Sports Net Chicago will broadcast the noon game on tape delay.
Sunday, Feb. 11, Fox Sports Net New York, Fox Sports Net New England and Fox Sports Net Florida will carry Boston College's home game against Connecticut at noon.
Fox Sports New England and Fox Sports Florida will also air the BIG EAST Championship doubleheader on Monday, March 5 starting at 6 p.m.
