Women's Ice Hockey Slips To Princeton, 2-0

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - For the second consecutive day, Boston College fell by a score of 2-0. Princeton defeated the Eagles 2-0 Sunday in Chestnut Hill. BC had fallen 2-0 to Yale Saturday in a game played at BB&N.
The Tigers improved to 8-7-4 overall and 6-6-2 in the ECAC after suffering a 3-1 loss to Dartmouth Saturday. BC dropped to 5-14-1 and 1-14-1.
Andrea Kilbourne (Saranac Lake, N.Y.) broke 46 minutes of scoreless play with her game-winning goal at 6:37 in the third period. Sisters Annamarie Holmes (Apple Valley, Minn.) and Nikola Holmes each added an assist on that goal. The duo from Apple Valley, Minn. then teamed up for an insurance goal at 8:10 in the third with Annamarie finding the back of the net.
Princeton's Sarah Ahlquist (South St. Paul, Minn.) made nine saves for the complete-game shutout. BC's Christy Nentwig (Chesterfield, Mo.) collected 36 saves in her 59 minutes in net.
BC plays at St. Lawrence Saturday (Feb. 5).
