NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Boston College women's golf team finished seventh in a field of 21 teams at the Yale Invitational on September 25-26. Yale University shot a 316-317-633 to win the two-day event. Rutgers University (318-327-645), Wofford College (319-328-647), Creighton University (338-345-683), and the University of Hartford (345-341-686) finished among the top five teams at the Invitational. The Eagles shot a 364-342-706 to finish seventh.

Kristy Finlayson of the University of Hartford finished first after shooting a 79-72-151. Katie Shields was the top finisher for Boston College, placing eighth with a score of 79-79-158. Rounding out the Boston College competitors were Suzanne Carrazza (33rd, 94-83-177), Jackie Shea (T-44th, 94-89-183), Carolyn McDonald (T-52nd, 97-91-188), and Meghan Donoghue (T-63rd, 101-93-194).
