Men's Soccer Player Garners Conference Honor

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College freshman Zach Bouchard (Canterbury, N.H.) was named the BIG EAST?s co-rookie of the week for the week ending Sept. 19.

Bouchard scored his first collegiate goal in Boston College?s 2-0 blanking of Villanova on Sept. 19.

The goal, which turned out to be the game winner came on an assist from fellow newcomer Casey Schmidt (Newbury Park, Calif.).

New Hampshire?s all-time leading schoolboy goal scorer, Bouchard has played in four games for the 3-2 Eagles registering an assist to go along with his goal.

The Eagles return to action on Friday, Sept. 24 when they?ll host Seton Hall at 4 p.m.
