
Men's Golf Finishes 23rd At Yale Invitational

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - The Boston College men's golf team finished 23rd in a field of 35 teams at the Yale Fall Invitational in New Haven, CT on September 18-19. The University of Cincinnati shot a 290-292-582 to win the two-day event, followed by Rollins College (293-290-583) and the University of Rhode Island (286-297-583). Boston College finished the Invitational with a score of 317-323-640.
Gavin Flint of Lamar College won the event with a 73-66-139. Jim Salinetti of Rhode Island (68-72-140) and Stefano Maio of Rollins College (70-71-141) rounded out the top three places.
Patrick Dunn (77-75-152) and Rich Tilghman (76-76-152) were the top finishers for Boston College, both placing 42nd with a score of 152. Rounding out the Boston College competitors were Bob Gregory (T131st, 78-88-166), Mark Sullivan (T-145th, 86-84-170), and Josh Folkerth (159th, 86-88-174).
