Wrestling Gains 1998-99 Academic Recognition

CHESNUT HILL, Mass. - The 1998-99 Boston College wrestling team ranked second on the National Wrestling Coaches Association's list of Top 25 Academic Teams. The announcement was made in a release by the coaches association.
The top teams were selected by taking the grade point averages of each team's starting 10 wrestlers along with two backups who had competed in at least one varsity dual.
Boston College ranked second with a 3.25 grade point average. Princeton was the top finisher with a 3.41 grade point average.
