Boston University 13 Boston College 8CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.---Boston College fell to Boston University 13-8 in womens lacrosse action Tuesday night at Alumni Stadium on the campus of Boston College.
Sophomore Emily Ryan(Havertown, PA) got BC on the board first at the 26:54 mark off an assist from Freshman Lauren Miller(Timonium, MD). The Terriors tied the game less than a minute and a half later as Jean Cooney put one behind BC goalie Melissa Cole.
The two teams swapped leads from their on in and when into the half tied at four. Eleven second into the second half junior Emily Santos(Reisertown, MD) gave BC its final lead at 5-4. Boston University scored seven unanswered goals to put the game out of reach at 11-5.
BC was led by Ryan who had four goals and an assist. Three Terriors had multiple goal games led by Chrissy Lombard with four goals and two assists.
