Jennifer Buckley, a freshman forward on the women's ice hockey team, has been named ECAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 1, 1998. The native of Greenwich, Connecticut tallied six points in three games over the final week of the season, raising her total for the year to 41 points(21-20-41). Buckley had a goal and an assist in the Eagles' first win ever over Brown, a goal and two assists against Providence, and she also tallied one goal in a victory over Bowdoin. Buckley ended the season tied for sixth place in overall scoring in the ECAC.
