Volleyball falls to Dartmouth

Chestnut Hill, MA--The Eagles dropped a hard fought match to Dartmouth College on Sunday afternoon 3-1. Dartmouth(14-2) proved to be too much for BC, as the Green had four players with more than 10 digs, led by Ashley Dean with 30.
Boston College won the first game 15-10, before Dartmouth won the next three(15-8, 15-4, 15-11) to earn the victory.
Sophomore outside-hitter Julia El-Hag(Bedford, NY) led the Eagles with a remarkable 35 kills and 19 digs. El-Hag was just one of six BC players to have more than 10 digs, led by Claire Oswalt's 20. Oswalt(Austin, TX) recorded a double-double with her 20 digs and 10 kills. Kyleen Charlton's(Tampa, Fl) 65 assists now give her 627 on the season(9.79 per/game)
BC will next travel to Syracuse for a match on Friday, October 23. The Eagles will next play at Power Gym on Wednesday, October 28 versus Dartmouth at 8:00 pm
