Volleyball Upsets Dartmouth

Chestnut Hill, MA--The Boston College volleyball team upset Dartmouth College in three straight games (15-10, 15-10, 15-8) to earn their 10th win of the season.
Kristin Sprinkel(Laguna, CA) led the team with a solid .474 hitting percentage. Sprinkel recorded seven kills and 10 digs in the match. Setter Kyleen Charlton(Tampa, FL) did another outstanding job setting up her teammates with 43 assists. In the two matches versus Dartmouth Charlton recorded an unheard of 108 assists in six games.
BC outhit Dartmouth .376 to .136, four Eagle's registered a hitting percentage of better than .300. BC also played better defense than the Big Green with 53 digs to Dartmouth's 47.
The win ends Boston College's three-match skid as Dartmouth drops its second straight match. BC will next play host to BIG EAST opponent Providence College on Friday night at 8:00.
