Volleyball Beats Brown in Four Games

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Boston College volleyball team upset Brown University in a tough, four game match on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The Eagles won the first game 15-7, lost the second game 12-15, and then captured the final two games 15-11 and 16-14. Boston College increased its overall record to 12-17, while Brown fell to 19-8.
Sophomore Julia El-Hag (Bedford, NY) led the Eagles with 23 kills out of Boston Colleges 76 kills for the match. Three other players had double digits in kills, with sophmore Kristin Sprinkel (Laguna, CA) scoring 17 kills, and sophomore Claire Oswalt (Austin, TX) and junior Laura DeLong (Bay Village, OH) adding 15 kills each. Sophomore setter Kyleen Charlton (Tampa, FL) added 63 assists in the win.
The Eagles next face BIG EAST foe St. Johns on the road on Friday, Nov. 13. Match time is set for 7:30 pm.
