Boston College sophomore Chris Hamblin (Bristol, England) made nine saves in 120 minutes to preserve the scoreless tie against Seton Hall in a BIG EAST match played in South Orange, N.J.
The Pirates outshot the Eagles, 19-10. Seton Halls Derek Martin made six saves.
Boston College moves to 4-6-2 on the season, and 1-4-1 in the BIG EAST. The Pirates emerge 8-2-2 overall, 4-2-1 in the conference. The Eagles will return to action on Friday, October 16 at 4 p.m. when they face BIG EAST rival Villanova.
