Men's Lacrosse Team Qualifies for ECAC Championships

By virtue of a 7-8 regular season record, Boston College was awarded the number three seed in the ECAC Intercollegiate Lacrosse Championships that will be played this weekend, May 9 and 10, at Colgate University.
The Eagles will play the number two seed Fairfield in the semifinal round at 3 p.m. on Saturday May 9.
The other semifinal game will match Mount St. Marys against host Colgate at 1 p.m.
The winners of the two games will square off in the finals on Sunday May 10 at 1 p.m. to decide the ECAC champion.
The Eagles played host to Fairfield in their last regular-season contest losing, 15-12.
Boston College is led by senior Kevin McLane who has scored 39 goals on the season and 121 in his career.
Head Coach Ed Moy and his team last competed in the ECAC championships in 1996. Boston College defeated Fairfield 15-6 in the semifinals and lost to Colgate 10-8 in the finals.
