SUMMARY:
* Junior J.T. Groarke tallied five points on four goals and one assist to lead Fairfield over Boston College 15-12 this evening.
* Junior Chris Zakak scored four goals for the Eagles including two to end the first quarter giving Boston College a 4-3 lead.
* Boston College senior Kevin McLane scored two goals in the second quarter to extend the Eagles lead to 7-5 at the half.
* However, Fairfield posted six unanswered goals at the end of the third quarter and begining of the fourth quarter, to take the lead 13-10.
* Boston College then added two goals to close the defecit to 13-12. However, sophmore Spencer Steele netted two goals to close out the quarter and give Fairfield the victory.
* Boston College finishes the regular season with a 7-8 record. Fairfield improves to 8-5 on the year.
