SUMMARY: Senior Mike DelPercio scored three goals, and junior Mike McKeefrey, sophomore Alex Racioppi and freshman Jeremy Guski added two goals apiece, as the Minutemen defeated the Eagles 12-6, this afternoon.
The Minutemen opened the game with five unanswered goals, netted by five different players to give Massachusetts a 5-0 lead at the end of one quarter.
Although the Eagles countered with three goals in the second quarter they were never able to cut the lead to less than two.
Sophomore Kiernan O'Connor posted two goals for the Eagles and Junior Tyler Jewell contributed one goal and one assist.
Senior John Kasselakis posted 12 saves in leading Massachusetts the visotor's to victory, while junior Anthony Cirri stopped six shots for the host Eagles.
Boston College's next game will come on Saturday when they take on Mercyhurst College at Cornell.
