BOSTON (AP) - Pittsburgh's Stephen Flores, who had scored just two points in the last seven games, had the go-ahead basket with 8.1 seconds left as the Panthers overcame a 13-point second-half deficit and defeated Boston College 67-66 on Saturday.
Ricardo Greer led the Panthers (13-14, 4-12 Big East) with 17 points. Kellii Taylor had 16 and Vonteego Cummings added 16. Flores had all eight of his in the final 7:17.
It was Pittsburgh's first road league win of the year after seven losses.
Kenny Harley scored 21 points, Brian Ross 16 and Kenny Walls 14 for the Eagles (6-18, 3-13).
Boston College grabbed a 66-63 lead on Jonathon Beerbohm's two free throws with 32 seconds left, but Cummings two free throws cut it to one with 28 seconds to go.
After a five-seconds call against Harley, Flores grabbed Greer's missed shot and scored the game-winning basket.
Walls tried a 3-pointer as the horn sounded, but the ball bounced off the rim and went out of bounds.
