Men's Hockey falls at Harvard, 3-1

BOSTON, Mass. - Harvards Craig Adams tallied the game-winning goal and added one assist to lead the Crimson in a 3-1 win over Boston College in front of 2,327 at Harvards Bright Center.
The Crimsons Rob Millar also notched one goal and one assist.
Harvard took an early lead when Trevor Allman scored at 2:13 of the first period. Boston College quickly knotted the game with Mike Lepharts sixth goal of the season. Blake Bellefeuille added an assist on the power-play tally at 4:38 of the opening stanza.
Harvard regained the lead late in the second period on a power-play goal by Adams. The eventual game-winning goal came 35 seconds after BCs Bellefeuille received a five-minute major penalty for hitting from behind.
Millar added an insurance goal for the Crimson when he scored on a breakaway at 7:35 of the third period. Adams fed Millar with a long pass that enabled him to sneak behind the defense.
BCs Scott Clemmensen made 22 saves in 59 minutes. Harvards J.R. Prestifilippo finished with 28 saves to earn his fifth win of the season.
The Eagles will return to HOCKEY EAST action when they face Northeastern on Friday, January 15. Game time is 7 p.m. in BCs Kelley Rink.
