Men's Golf Team Finishes Second in Greater Boston Championship

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College's men's golf team wrapped up their spring season in style, finishing second in the Greater Boston Championship, held April 25 in Concord, Mass.
The Eagles were led by sophomore Mike Tegnelia (Miami, Fla./Gulliver Prep), who tied for first place with a round of 75, a career-best by three strokes. Tegnelia fell in a two-round playoff to Derek Anderson from Bentley.
Sophomore Patrick Dunn (Milton, Mass./Milton) and junior Sean Lim (Coto De Caza, Calif./Santa Margarita) placed seventh and eleventh, respectively. Dunn, the team's #2 player, fired a score of 79, while Lim, BC's captain, finished a shot back with an 80. Freshmen Mark Sullivan (Port Washington, NY/St. Mary's) and Josh Folkerth (Lockport, NY/St. Joseph) contributed with rounds of 83 and 84 to close out the Eagle scoring.
