Kevin McLane Eclipses BC Lacrosse Career Point Mark
June 21, 1999 | Men's Lacrosse
Boston College senior Kevin McLane (Westfield, N.J.) netted four goals in a 12-10 win over Providence on April 15, bringing his career total to 107. Coupled with his 74 career assists, McLane now has 181 career points.
His 181 points ranks him first on the school's career point list, surpassing Jim Sullivan who had 180 points between 1971 and 1974.
McLane is also on the verge of setting career marks in goals and assists for the Eagles.
With 107 goals, he is only 17 shy of tying the school's career goal record of 124, set by his older brother Colin (Class of '92).
McLane is also only 20 assists away from tying the career mark set by Chris O'Hara, who tallied 94 between 1980 and 1983.
Boston College has a 5-6 record this season. The Eagles have four games remaining on their schedule.
