Eagles Split with Villanova

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- Junior Mary Dietz(San Manuel, AZ) threw her second no-hitter of the season to defeat the Villanova Wildcats 1-0, in action Saturday afternoon.
BC slapped three hits in the win, scoring the winning run in the top of the third. Dietz picked up her sixth straight win to up her record to 10-6.
In the second game, the Eagles fell 3-0. Junior Lauren Fischetti(Brea, CA) gave up three runs before freshman Brooke Shull(San Diego, CA) came on in relief.
Sophomore Summer Jarratt(Manhattan Beach, CA) and junior Julie Ulbrich(Leonia, N.J.) got the only two hits for Boston College.
