Eagles Finish Seventh at New England Championships

STERLING, Mass. -The Boston College men's golf team finished seventh at the New England Championship at the Sterling Country Club on April 29-30. Boston College junior Patrick Dunn (80, 74) and freshman Rich Tilghman (77, 77) tied for 21st with a two-day score of 154.
The University of Rhode Island won the event with a score of 596, and the University of Connecticut finished second with a two-day score of 597. Justin Thompson led Rhode Island, winning the New England Championships with a score of 146 (73, 73). Sean Lim placed 27th for Boston College with a score of 155 (78,77) followed by teammates Mike Tegnelia (77, 85- 162), and Mark Sullivan (82, 86- 168).
