Anand Annigeri Falls In Second Round Of ITA Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior captain Anand Annigeri competed at the ITA Invitational hosted by Princeton, Nov. 4-8.
In first round play, Annigeri defeated Pedja Zdravkovic of the University of Hartford in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3.
With the win, he advanced to the second round where he faced 15th seed Mike Dektas of West Virginia. Annigeri fell in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
For the fall season, Annigeri holds a 6-4 record. Playing at first singles in match play, he has compiled a 3-1 and a 3-3 record in open tournaments.
The tennis team will take a three month break and return to action on February 2 against Central Connecticut State in New Britain, Conn. at 3:00 p.m.
