NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Boston College women's golf team finished third in a field of 15 teams at the Mount Holyoke Golf Invitational on October 1-2 at the Orchards Golf Course in South Hadley, Mass. Katie Shields of Boston College finished second with a two-day score of 152 (76/76).
Yale University shot a 327-322-649 to win the two-day event and the University of Hartford placed second with a score of 324-342-666. Kristy Finlayson of the University of Hartford won her third tournament this fall with a 71-79-150 . Rounding out the Boston College competitors were Suzanne Carrazza (T-15th, 89-84-173), Carolyn McDonald (T-24th, 89-93-182) Meghan Donoghue (T-29th, 87-97-184), and Jennifer Mitchell (T-50th, 102-95-197).
