Eagles Finish 11th At ECAC Championship

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Boston College women's golf team finished 11th with a two-day score of 708 (358-350) at the ECAC Championship at Bucknell University's Golf Club on October 23-24. Sara Doell shot a two-day 152 (76-76) to lead Penn State to its second ECAC championship in three years. The Nittany Lions (620) held a 12-stroke lead over runner-up Yale (632) to claim the title in the 22-team championship.
Three golfers ended the second day in a tie for first place. Anne Fraser of Rutgers won the individual title with a two-day 152 (78-74), defeating Penn State's Doell and Yale's Sarah Seo (77-75) in the tie breaker.
Katie Shields was the top finisher for Boston College, with a two-day score of 172 (89, 83). Rounding out the Boston College competitors were Suzanne Carrazza (90-83-173), Meghan Donoghue (89-93-182), Jackie Shea (90-93-183), and Carolyn McDonald (96-91-187).
