Men's Soccer Falls to Syracuse

NEWTON, Mass. - Syracuse blanked Boston College 3-0 in men?s soccer action at the Newton Campus Soccer Field Sunday.

The Eagles and Orangemen each took 16 shots on goal with Syracuse connecting three times on a pair of goals by Gabriel Gervais and a single tally by Mario Cristofori.

Boston College junior netminder Chris Hamblin recorded six saves in the setback. Jorgen Lie led the Eagle offensive attack with four shots on goal while Brian Mollo and each had three.

Now 4-7-1 overall and 1-7-0 in BIG EAST play, the Eagles host Dartmouth on Oct. 21. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
