Leo Ferrine is in his fourth season as a member of the Boston College football staff. He joined the staff as recruiting specialist in July 2014. He was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in Jan. 2016.
Prior to his arrival at Boston College, Ferrine was a recruiting assistant for two years at the Rutgers University. He also spent a year as an intern in the community relations and player personnel departments with the San Diego Chargers.
Ferrine graduated from Notre Dame in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in film and television. He earned his masters of education from the University of Delaware in 2010. He was a four-year member of the Fighting Irish football team, playing 28 games at defensive back. He recorded 34 tackles in his career and earned a tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles after graduation.
A Springfield, N.J., native, Ferrine currently resides in Norwood, Mass.
