Ryan Roberts enters his first season with the Boston College Football program as Director of Player Personnel.

Prior to arriving on The Heights, Roberts was the Assistant Director of Player Personnel at Mississippi State. In this role, he served as an initial talent evaluator of high school prospects while organizing recruiting travel for assigned coaches. Roberts also had a significant hand in transfer portal player identification as well.

Before landing in Starkville, Roberts worked as a Player Personnel Analyst at the University of North Carolina. He also completed two recruiting internships with the New York Jets and his alma mater, Liberty University.

As a student at Liberty, Roberts was a volunteer student assistant coach, as well as a recruiting assistant. He received his bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2023 and his master’s degree in sports administration in 2025.
