Reshauna (Shauna) Cobb joined the Boston College Athletics Department in December 2021. She is a member of the department’s executive staff and has the designation of Senior Woman Administrator.
Cobb has oversight of the areas of Student-Athlete Formation and Success, athletic nutrition, the sport administrators’ group, student-athlete conduct and serves as the department’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator. She serves as the sport administrator for women’s basketball, women’s soccer and softball.
Prior to joining the Boston College staff, Cobb previously served as a Director of Academic and Membership Affairs at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Beginning with the NCAA in 2009, her responsibilities included co-oversight of the team that processed interpretations and waivers of Division I academic legislation. Shauna also had oversight of the Division I Academic Performance Program (academic data operations & penalty waivers, APR improvement plans, public releases, policy interpretations, etc.). She served as a liaison to both the Division I Committee on Academics and the Division I Strategic Vision and Planning Committee and also led programming and content oversight of the NCAA Regional Rules Seminars.
Prior to joining the NCAA, Cobb held positions in athletics compliance at both Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech.
Cobb attended Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. In 2001 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and in 2003 with a Master’s of Human Resource Development. She was a member of the 2008 class of the NCAA Dr. Charles Whitcomb Leadership Institute.
Cobb completed the NCAA/NACWAA Institute for Administrative Advancement in 2012. In 2016, she participated in the NCAA Pathway Program, a yearlong experiential learning opportunity for the senior-level athletics administrators.
