Ollie Goss was announced as an assistant coach on April 13, 2021.

Goss arrives at The Heights after spending four seasons at Bradley, playing a pivotal role in the Braves' rise from four wins in his first season to 20 victories in 2025-26.

The Braves finished with the best defense last season in the Missouri Valley Conference, limiting opponents to just 64.2 points per game and the top 3-point defense in the MVC, allowing foes to shoot 26.9 percent from deep, which ranked 16th nationally.

Bradley also shot a conference-best 34.6 percent from 3-point land, and made eight 3-pointers per game - good for second in the league. The Braves were also second in the MVC with a 1.06 assist/turnover ratio. Bradley saw multiple all-conference selections and the program's first MVC Newcomer of the Year.

Prior to Bradley, Goss spent six seasons at Northwestern, contributing to a combined 124–64 record (.660) across the men's and women's programs. During that span, Northwestern made two NCAA Tournament appearances, finished as WNIT runner-up, and captured a Big Ten regular-season title. He was heavily involved in day-to-day operations, film analysis, and game preparation.

In 2017, Goss earned a master's degree in sports administration from Northwestern University's School of Professional Studies while working as a graduate manager for the men's basketball team. As a graduate manager, he helped the Wildcats earn their first trip to the NCAA tournament in school history. Goss also gained experience at the IMG Academy, where he completed a basketball operations internship with their men's basketball program.

Prior to returning to Northwestern, Goss worked as a recruiting coordinator at Next College Student Athlete, where he assisted parents and prospective student-athletes in learning about the college athletic recruiting process.

Goss is a 2013 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in sports management. While at BGSU, he began his coaching career as a high school basketball coach in his hometown of Rossford, Ohio. He is married to head coach Kate Popovec-Goss and are the proud parents of Mira Renee Goss.
