Micah Dorrel is in his first year as an aquatic graduate assistant at the Margot Connell Recreational Center at Boston College.Â
Before coming to the Heights, Dorrel spent three years at James Madison University. Starting off as a student athlete tutor, he earned a position as an administrative intern within the athletic department assisting in administrative, organizational and in-season tasks. He spent over two years working as a student manager for women’s track and field assisting the coaching staff, athletes and event execution.Â
Dorrel graduated from James Madison University with bachelor’s degrees in sport and recreation management with a minor in business. During his time, he was a member of the club cross country track and field team and intramural sports.Â
He is currently working to obtain a master’s degree in sports administration at Boston College.Â
