Meridith Messier joined the Boston College Athletics Department as the Associate Director of Compliance & Financial Aid in September 2022. Messier comes to the Heights after spending over two years at the University of Rhode Island.
She most recently served as the Director of Compliance at the University of Rhode Island. In that position, Messier oversaw all aspects of financial aid within the department while also overseeing aspects of eligibility, recruiting, rules education, monitoring, and was the liaison for the Admissions Office.
Prior to Rhode Island, she also worked in compliance at the University of Hartford and University of New Haven. Messier started in compliance with an internship at American International College.
Originally from Attleboro, MA, Messier earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in 2016 where she was also a member of the women's gymnastics team. She completed her Master's of Education in Athletic Administration at Springfield College in May 2018.
