Maggie Dwyer has been named senior associate athletic director for development after serving for the last year as assistant athletic director of major gifts at Boston College.

Prior to coming to the Heights, Dwyer served as associate athletic director of development and director of major gifts at Jacksonville University. She also spent time at the University of Delaware starting as associate director of development and eventually earning the title of assistant athletic director of development.

Dwyer also spent time as the executive director of Recovery On Water, a rowing team for women with breast cancer based out of Chicago.

A former four-year varsity rower and team captain at the University of Pennsylvania, Dwyer was the women’s rowing associate head coach at Jacksonville University from 2016-2020. During her time, she helped guide a trio of MAAC Championships and three appearances at the Women’s Rowing NCAA Championship.

Dwyer earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from University of Pennsylvania in 2015, then went on to obtain a Master of Science in organizational leadership from Jacksonville University in 2018.
