Jeff DeVaughn joined Boston College Athletics in June of 2024 as the Associate Director of Athletics Major Giving. He joined Boston College Advancement in 2021, initially serving on the university side before transitioning to athletic advancement in June 2024.
In his role, Jeff manages a portfolio across the Midwest, South of Boston, Westchester, and Fairfield County, partnering with alumni, parents, and friends to advance BC Athletics’ philanthropic priorities. He also serves as the fundraising liaison for the track and field program, the sailing team, and volleyball. He also serves as the second sports administrator for women's soccer.Â
Beyond athletics, Jeff is the president of the Boston College Toastmasters Club, supporting staff and faculty in strengthening their public speaking and communication skills.
Before coming to the Heights, Jeff worked in student-athlete development at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. A Philadelphia native, he competed as a Division I football player at the University of Maine, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science. He went on to complete his master’s degree in higher education, graduating in 2020.
