Jason Blanchette oversees the creative services and marketing departments within Boston College Athletics.

Since arriving at the Heights in 2015, Blanchette has been responsible for the creation and oversight of the football and men's basketball marketing plans, with a focus on maximizing revenue, attendance, and fan engagement. He manages the advertising and digital marketing strategies for the athletics department, with an emphasis on paid media, email, and web. Blanchette also serves as the secondary sport administrator for the Men’s Basketball program. Outside of athletics, Blanchette is an adjunct professor in the Boston College Woods College of Advancing Studies Graduate Program, where he teaches Revenue Generation.

Prior to arriving in Chestnut Hill, Blanchette spent six years at UMass, elevating to the roles of Director of Sales and Director of Marketing.

A 2009 graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in sports management, he served as a team manager for the Orange men’s basketball program. He earned his master’s degree in sports administration from Boston College in 2018.

Blanchette currently resides in Westborough, Mass. with his wife Stephanie and their two sons, Oliver and Charlie.
