Emma Donnelly is in her second year as assistant director of communications at Boston College. In her role she is the athletic communications contact for women’s soccer and women’s ice hockey.

Prior to joining the Heights, Donnelly worked as the assistant director of strategic communications at the University of Missouri-Columbia for two years. In this role, Donnelly worked with gymnastics during their first ever national championship run. She also assisted with volleyball.

Before her time in Missouri, Donnelly worked as an assistant sports information director at Keystone College in Pennsylvania for one year.

She was the 2020 recipient of the Jim Atherton award, presented for her exemplary work, determination and reliability.

Donnelly earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020. During her time there she was a student worker for athletic communications.
