Eli Kosanovich enters his third season as a Graduate Assistant working with the Boston College quarterbacks.Â
In 2025, Kosanovich supported an Eagles offense that finished sixteenth in total passing offense in the country, averaging 280.4 yards per game. In 10 games with nine starts at quarterback in his first full season, redshirt sophomore Dylan Lonergan registered 190 completions, moving him inside the top-10 in single-season completions in school history.
In 2024, QB Tommy Castellanos completed 288-of-491 passes for 3,614 yards and 33 passing touchdowns. On the ground, he added 1,307 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, becoming the first player in Boston College history with 2,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season.
Prior to arriving on The Heights, Kosanovich was a Graduate Assistant working with the quarterbacks at Pittsburgh. Before getting into coaching, Kosanovich played quarterback at Pittsburgh from 2019-23.Â
Originally from Aliquippa, Pa., Kosanovich graduated from Pittsburgh in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. In addition, Kosanovich got his master’s degree in sport administration from Boston College in 2025.Â
