Dalene Gomes is in her third year as assistant director of sports medicine, but her fifth year at Boston College. In her current position, she works with men’s soccer and men’s and women’s skiing.Â
Before this role, Gomes worked as an athletic training student and a resident athletic trainer at Boston College. During her time as a resident athletic trainer, she was working with baseball, men’s soccer, men’s skiing and women’s skiing.Â
Before coming to the Heights, Gomes was an athletic training student at Harvard University and Lawrence Academy.Â
Gomes earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Merrimack College in 2019 and went on to earn a master’s degree in athletic training in 2021.Â
She is currently working to obtain her Doctor of Education in health professions degree at A.T. Still University.Â
