Chris Remick is entering his second year as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Boston College. Remick returned to the staff in October of 2025, now overseeing communications and creative efforts for men’s basketball.
Prior to rejoining the Heights, Remick served as an Associate Director of Communications at the University of Massachusetts for a year and a half. In this role, he worked as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball, men’s soccer, softball, and track & field. During his time in Amherst, Remick led all communications, creative, and social media efforts for his assigned sports, including the men’s soccer Elite Eight run and women’s basketball NIT appearance.
Remick was the 2024-25 recipient of the UMass Athletics Flagship Award, presented for his contributions to the department.
Before UMass, Remick worked as a Communications Assistant at Boston College for two years. During this time, he worked with field hockey, skiing, swimming & diving, cross country/track & field, rowing, and tennis as a primary communications contact while providing secondary communications support for women’s basketball.
Remick also served as a photographer and social media manager during key postseason runs during the 2023-24 academic year for men’s hockey, men’s basketball, and lacrosse.
Remick earned a B.S. in Sport Management & Leadership from the University of New Hampshire in 2022.
