Colliton is in his fourth year as associate director of communications at Boston College. In this role, he oversees communications for women’s basketball and women’s lacrosse.
Before joining the Heights, Colliton worked as assistant sports information director at Appalachian State University for six years. During his time in Boone, he worked with women’s basketball, football, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s tennis.
Colliton was part of the football staff at App State that received the Football Writers Association Super 11 award, given each year to 11 sports information departments deemed as the best in the NCAA's 130-team Football Bowl Subdivision.
He also placed in the 2019-20 CoSIDA Publications and Digital Design Contest, winning an award for best infographic/pregame graphic.
Before this role, Colliton worked as a sports analyst for Krossover and an athletic communications assistant for Middle Tennessee State University.
Colliton worked as a sports information intern for the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he acted as primary media contact for men’s and women’s cross country and men’s and women’s tennis. In this role, he worked with men’s and women’s basketball as well as men’s hockey, and assisted with social media platforms and media operations for all home athletic events.
Prior to his time in Alabama, Colliton worked for Ohio University as a media relations assistant for two years overseeing gameday media operations for football, volleyball, basketball and baseball games. After this, he earned an office assistant position working with the sports administration department for two years assisting with data collection, research and other administrative tasks.
Colliton earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Ohio University in 2013.
