Brent Alexander enters his second season as Defensive Analyst with the Boston College Football program, working closely with the defensive backs.Â
Under Alexander’s mentorship in 2025, several true freshman Eagles saw significant playing time in the secondary, such as TJ Green, Omarion Davis, Marcelous Townsend and Ashton Cunningham.Â
Prior to his time on The Heights, Alexander served as an Athletics Development Coach for College Bound Athletics, where he coordinated try-outs and college exposure, counseled athletes and parents in the recruiting process, and trained athletes in speed, agility, and position-specific drills. He was also the Head Football Coach at Station Camp High School in Gallatin, Tenn. Here, Alexander revamped a two-year winless program to win 8 consecutive games, achieving two winning seasons and one playoff appearance. In addition, he earned recognition as the Tennessee Titans Coach of the Week while at the helm.Â
Before his tenure at Station Camp High School, Alexander was an Assistant Coach at Pope John Paul Prep in Hendersonville, Tenn.Â
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Alexander played 12 NFL seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants. He appeared in 192 career games with 178 starts, totaling almost 900 tackles, 28 interceptions, eight fumble recoveries and eight sacks.Â
Originally from Gallatin, Tenn., Alexander graduated from Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.Â
