Andrea Morrow joined the Boston College Women’s Soccer staff as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in February 2024. As a position coach, she works directly with the defense.
In her inaugural season (2024–25), the Eagles recorded their most goals scored, most shutouts, highest ACC finish, most ACC wins, best overall record, and highest RPI since 2018. As Recruiting Coordinator, Morrow also helped Boston College secure the No. 23 ranked recruiting class nationally, as recognized by TopDrawer Soccer.
During the 2025–26 season, Morrow’s defensive unit ranked among the league’s best, finishing fourth in the ACC in goals-against average and fifth in shutout percentage. Under her tutelage at Boston College, midfielder and defender Sophia Lowenberg signed a professional contract with Boston Legacy FC of the NWSL.
Morrow previously spent six seasons as an Assistant Coach at UMass Lowell (2018–2023), helping guide the River Hawks through one of the most successful stretches in program history. During her tenure, UMass Lowell qualified for the America East postseason every season, captured an America East Regular Season Championship, and made two America East Championship Game appearances (2018 and 2023). The program earned six consecutive postseason berths, including five home-seeded first-round playoff matches, highlighting sustained success and competitiveness.
Throughout her time at UMass Lowell, Morrow worked extensively with defenders and overall team organization, contributing to the development of all-conference and all-academic performers. Under her guidance, Dunja Mostarac earned America East All-First Team, Championship All-Star Team, All-Academic Team honors, and was named America East Defender of the Year in 2020 and 2021. She also earned 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s Atlantic Region First Team and 2021 NEWISA All-New England First Team recognition, while leading the squad in minutes played.
Prior to her coaching career, Morrow was a standout defender for the River Hawks, totaling 61 appearances and 37 starts. She ranks 10th on UMass Lowell’s Division I career scoring leaders list, reflecting her impact at both ends of the field.
Morrow holds a USSF D License and has coached at both the youth and collegiate levels. She has also served on staff with local club programs, including FC Stars within the ECNL.
A native of West Boylston, Mass., Morrow earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UMass Lowell in 2018.
