Émilie Leger is entering her first year with Boston College as an Athletic Communications Assistant serving as primary contact for men's & women's tennis and rowing.
Prior to coming to the Heights, Leger spent the 2024 season at Brown University as an Athletic Communications Assistant, serving as primary contact for field hockey, sailing and fencing, and assisting men's and women's ice hockey.
Before working at Brown, she spent the 2023-2024 academic year working at the University of Rhode Island as an Athletic Communications Intern, assisting with football, volleyball, men's & women's basketball and softball. She also volunteered with Providence College, Hockey East, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. During her time at Rhode Island, Leger created French Flavor in Kingston, a collection of feature stories on GoRhody.com showcasing the international student-athletes found on the women's basketball team. Throughout the year, she conducted and produced sit-down interviews in French with the French native coach and athletes to share their stories, culture and individual beyond the jersey.
Leger graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2024 with degrees in Public Relations and Sports Media & Communications. A two-year member of the ice hockey team, she acted as the women's hockey social media manager, vice president of the Rhody Sports Media Club, member of the WRIU radio station, and reporter for Anchor Sports Network.
She is currently working to obtain a masters degree in Sports Administration at Boston College.
