AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18):
Coxswain of the Third Varsity Eight that advanced to the Grand Finals, placing third overall in the Cooper Sprints with a time of 8:05.17 (March 25) … member of the Third Varsity Eight that placed third in the Second Varsity Eight event against the BU Lightweights and MIT (March 31) … part of the Third Varsity Eight crew that placed second to Northeastern (April 7) … raced in the Third Varsity Eight boat that placed first against UConn and Holy Cross with a time of 7:07.3 (April 8) … part of the Third Varsity Eight that advanced to the Grand Finals and placed second at Knecht Cup with a time of 7:08.48 (April 14).
AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17):
Member of the BC “A” boat that finished first at the Green Monster Regatta (Nov. 6) ... was a member of the Freshman Eight “A” boat that placed second with a time of 13:52.2 at the Foot of the Charles (Nov. 12) ... competed in the Second Varsity Eight as the "C" boat against BU and MIT (Apr. 2) ... took the gold medal in the Frosh/Novice Four at the Knecht Cup (April 8-9) with a time of 8:01.46 ... competed in the Second Varsity Eight event as a member of the Third Varsity Eight against BU and Rhode Island (April 15) ... was a member of the Fourth Varsity Eight against Harvard-Radcliffe and Michigan State (April 23) ... earned the gold medal in the Fourth Varsity Eight finishing with a time of 7:23.4 in the Grand Finals at the Eastern Sprints (April 30).
BEFORE BC:
Competed on the cross-country team for St. Mary’s Academy – Bay View for four years … Ran at the varsity level as a junior and senior … participated in the New England cross-country meet and was named the Class B champion … Also was a member of the lacrosse team, playing at the varsity level for three years … Earned Academic All-State for both sports.
Personal:
Is the daughter of Frank and Cheryl Mattos … Has three younger sisters: Brooke, Olivia and Jacqueline … Graduated in the top 10 percent of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society … Enrolled in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
