Boston College lacrosse head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein announced the promotion of Callahan Kent to assistant coach on July 28, 2023
Kent spent two seasons on the sidelines for the Eagles, working primarily with the goalies and supervised lacrosse operations off the field. The Eagles posted a 38-8 mark with a pair of national title appearances and an ACC championship since she arrived at BC.Â
"I am so thankful for Blake James and Acacia Walker-Weinstein for allowing me the opportunity to work with the elite athletes and staff at Boston College," said Kent. "Acacia, Jen Kent and Sam Apuzzo have created such a special program that I am fortunate to be a part of."
Under the tutelage of Kent, Dolce went to another level in 2025, as she led the nation and the ACC with a career-high .550 save percentage and 203Â saves. Dolce repeated as the ACC Goalkeeper of the Year and IWLCA Goalkeeper of the Year. She was the first goalie since 2021 to be named a Tewaaraton finalist and one of two goalkeepers in school history (Megan McElvogue) to post 200 saves in a season. The rising senior was a First-Team All-American and later a Honda Sport Award finalist. Dolce set the ACC Tournament record with 38 saves. She had the highest save percentage in the ACC since 2018 and heads into her final season third all-time with 496 saves.Â
In 2024, she coach Dolce to another stellar season, capturing the ACC Goalkeeper of the Year award, while the then-sophomore goalie was First-Team All-ACC, led the ACC with a personal-high .470 save percentage and her 8.75 goals against average was first in the league and sixth in the nation. Dolce made the biggest play of the game in the national championship with the save that led to the title win over Northwestern.Â
Boston College finished in the top 10 in goals against average the last two seasons, while Rachel Hall finished second in the ACC and 22nd in the nation in goals against average last season. In 2023, Dolce won the ACC Freshman of the Year award and was named the ACC Tournament's Most Valuable Player. She led all freshmen in the country in both save percentage and goals against average.Â

Kent contributed to another stellar season for the Eagles in 2023, where they finished 19-4 with its first ACC championship and a sixth straight national title appearance. She was an intricate part of the staff that was named the IWLCA Northeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year.Â
Kent played goalkeeper for four seasons at Vanderbilt, where she was second-team All-Big East in 2016 and started in 32 of 37 appearances. She graduated with a bachelor's in Human and Organizational Development
