AS A SENIOR (2019-20)
Suited up for all 36 of BC’s contests and recorded career-highs in points (5), assists (5), shots on goal (27_, face-off wins (52) and blocked shots (12) … notched the first multi-point game of her career with a two-assist outing, including on the game-winning goal, in an overtime win over Providence (Jan. 24) … recorded single assists against Harvard (Dec. 31), Holy Cross (Jan. 31) and UConn (Feb. 28).
AS A JUNIOR (2018-19)
Dressed in 10 games as a defender for the Eagles … registered a blocked shot in a win at Holy Cross (Nov. 24) … finished with a plus/minus rating of +1.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18)
Dressed in 37 games as a forward, mainly seeing time on the fourth line … scored one goal on the season, a power-play goal at Harvard (Nov. 22).
AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17)
Dressed for 27 games … began her BC career as a forward before moving to the blue line after the midseason holiday break … posted two points: one goal and one assist … recorded her first career point in the Eagles’ second game of the season, picking up an assist at Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 1) on Caitrin Lonergan’s third-period power-play goal … scored her first career goal on Dec. 3 at Providence … saw significant ice time as a defenseman in the team’s last three games of the regular season.
BEFORE BC
Played center and left wing at Nobles and Greenough for Tom Resor and former BC men’s hockey head coach Steve Cedorchuk … Nobles won the 2016 New England (NEPSAC) championship, going 31-1-1 on the year … also helped win the 2012 and 2013 New England titles and five-straight Independent School League (ISL) championships: 2012 through 2016 … most recently played club hockey for Mid-Fairfield Connecticut Stars, which advanced to the USA Hockey Girls Tier I national championships in Blaine, Minn. … appeared in all three of the team’s tournaments games … prior to Mid-Fairfield, played most of her club career with Assabet Valley, helping the club win a national championship, a national semifinals finish and three Massachusetts state championships … participated in both Under-15 and Under-18 USA Hockey National Development Camps.

Full name is Kathryn, but prefers to go by Kate … oldest of Brian and Kathy Burke Annese’s three children … has two younger sisters, Elisabeth and Sara … both of her parents have degrees from Boston College: her father is a 1984 graduate and was a member of the Eagles’ track and field team, while her mother earned her MBA in 1995 … several other members of her family also attended BC … enrolled in the Carroll School of Management … participated in two New Orleans service trips to assist with post-Katrina rebuilding … chosen for Nobles’ SHIELD Program, giving tours in each of his last three years at the school.
